The Collins Cup takes place on Saturday 28 August, pitting teams from Europe, USA and an international team against one another in head-to-head races with the match-ups now known.
Each team consists of twelve athletes, a mix of qualifiers and captain’s picks, and one athlete from each team will take part in the twelve races on Saturday to earn points for their team. The race winner will get three points, second place two points and third place one point, with bonus points also available based on margin of victory.
The European team includes five British athletes. Lucy Charles-Barclay, Holly Lawrence and Joe Skipper all qualified, whilst Kat Matthews and Emma Pallant-Browne were chosen by Team Europe’s captains Natascha Badmann and Normann Stadler.
Jan Frodeno, Daniela Ryf, Gustav Iden, Anne Haug, Patrick Lange, Sebastian Kienle and Daniel Baekkegard complete the team.

Each race will comprise a 2km swim, 80km bike and 18km run of the course in Samorin, Slovakia, with the races starting at ten minute intervals.
The coverage will begin at 11:30am (12:30pm local time) on Saturday, with the first women's race starting at 12pm (1pm local time) and the first men's race at 2pm (3pm local time), with the Collins Cup being awarded around 6:30pm (7:30pm local time).
