A round up of the weekends action as mixed relay headlined the triathlon action at in London and Brit's scored success in Sweden.
Accenture British Triathlon Mixed Relay Cup
Crowds lining London’s docklands were able to enjoy some fantastic performances in the capitals warm weather, as Team Leeds I lifted the cup for a second consecutive year. A solid all-round performance saw the quartet of Lucy Hall, Sam Dickinson, Georgia Taylor-Brown and Tom Bishop take the tape nearly a minute ahead of a fast-finishing Loughborough I squad, with Australia taking bronze just one second adrift.

AJ Bell London Triathlon
One podium in a weekend wasn't enough for Natalie Van Coervordan (AUS), Lucy Hall (Leeds I) and Jodie Stimpson (Loughborough I) as they all returned to the Excel Centre on Sunday for the Elite race at the London Triathlon and finished in that respective order. Adam Bowden won the men's race having competed for Cardiff I the previous evening.
2018 Malmö ETU Sprint Triathlon European Cup
The men’s race in Malmö proved a successful outing for the British contingent with four placing within the top ten. Welshman Morgan Davies recorded his first ever senior European Cup win after running down Con Doherty (IRL), who had led out of T2, with Calum Johnson who trains at the Leeds Triathlon Performance Centre finishing a close third.
Jack Willis (6th) and Liam Lloyd (7th) also finished within the top ten.
In the Women’s race Lisa Norden (SWE) took second place, six years to the day since winning her silver medal at the London 2012 Olympic games after being edged out of taking the tape by Miriam Casillas Garcia (ESP) who produced one of the fastest run splits of the day.
Hannah Kitchen was the best placed Britain in 11th
2019 ETU Standard Distance Triathlon Qualifier – Arundel Triathlon
Age Group athletes competed to qualify for the 2019 European Standard Distance Triathlon Championships taking place next year. To learn more about the qualification process, please visit here.
Andrew Robinson (M40-44) of Horsham Amphibians Triathlon Club took the win in the men's race in a time of 2:00:04, with Victoria Duncan (F20-24) of Durham University Triathlon Club taking the tape in the womens race in a time of 2:17:18.
