Following Monday’s Championship events in Mallory Park, the Great Britain junior and paratriathlon teams for the ITU World Championship Grand Final in Rotterdam have been confirmed.
Paralympic Champion, Andy Lewis, put his bike crash behind him to secure selection in the PTS2 paratriathlon event. Fellow Rio medal winners, Alison Patrick, Lauren Steadman and Melissa Reid are all selected too.
As well as the established paratriathletes, there are newcomers to the sport, including Claire Chashmore, a Paralympic swimmer, and Jade Jones, a Paralympic track athlete.
The junior team features European junior champion, Kate Waugh, and bronze medal winner from last year’s world championships in Cozumel, Ben Dijkstra.
