Once that priority entry period is over entries will open up to the general public. There will be over 2,000 entries available for this event.

 

The British Standard Distance Age-Group Triathlon Championships will be the Great Britain Age-Group Team’s third and final qualification event for the 2013 London ITU Standard Distance Age-Group Triathlon World Championships part of the PruHealth World Triathlon Grand Final London from 11 to 15 September. 

 

The British Triathlon Championships Liverpool is the pinnacle of triathlon competition in Great Britain and will incorporate four British Championships:

 

 

The event will also include a triathlon team relay event with teams of four competitors completing a super sprint triathlon one after the other. The triathlon team relay will be a perfect introduction to the sport for novices and newcomers. 

 

This exciting event will take place the day after the British Standard Distance Age-Group Championships, giving competitors an opportunity to race twice over the weekend and make the most of their time in Liverpool.

Volunteers are the people who really make an event work, and make the experience for the athletes every bit more special. British Triathlon is beginning the search for volunteers to be part of one of the highlights of the 2013 British Triathlon calendar. There are a number of roles available, there’s always a great atmosphere at these events, and you can be part of it! In addition you will receive a race crew t-shirt and a packed lunch.
