First ever entry ballot for The Blenheim Palace Triathlon

One of Britain’s most popular multisport events, The Blenheim Palace Triathlon, is running an entry ballot for 2021 to give as many people as possible the chance to take part.

The event, which celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2020, takes place in the grounds of the historic Blenheim Palace, with transition taking place in the courtyard of the UNESCO World Heritage Site which provides a truly stunning setting to swim, bike, run.

There are two race distances available at the event which will take place over the weekend of 12 and 13 September 2021.

The super sprint race consists of a 400m swim, 13.2km bike and 2.9km run, whilst the sprint distance race sees participants compete over a 750m swim, 19.8km bike and 5.4km run. There’s also the chance to complete the sprint as a relay team of three.

Entry to both distances is through the ballot which will remain open until early 2021, ahead of which, organisers of the event, Limelight Sports, will promote the closing date of the ballot. Once the ballot has closed, the results will be announced via email, with those successful then able to accept their place.
