Volunteering at the British Triathlon Big Weekend and Accenture Mixed Relay Triathlon Canary Wharf will provide you with the opportunity to be at the heart of the action in delivering these exciting events.
The British Triathlon Big Weekend, Mallory Park, 7-8 September
This end of season event will see top young athletes from across Britain come together in individual and mixed team relay races. Traditionally a key milestone in the development of future stars, the event, previously known as the British Triathlon U20’s Festival, has seen the likes of Alex Yee, Tom Bishop and Lucy Hall take part. This year will see the first senior athletes take part in the event, as the Accenture British Triathlon Mixed Relay Cup comes to Mallory.
There are a range of roles on offer from registration to being out on the course, and all volunteers will receive lunch, refreshments and an event t-shirt.

Accenture Mixed Relay Triathlon Canary Wharf, 10 September
Returning for its second year, this innovative event will see suits replaced with trisuits, as participants represent their workplace to swim, bike and run as a team. Teams of two men and two women from across the corporate world will take to Canary Wharf in a twist on the Olympics’ newest triathlon format. Competitors will swim 300m in Middle Dock, before a 5km static bike on a virtual course in Jubilee Plaza. Coming off the bike they will then take on a closed road, 1.5km run down Bank Street to finish their leg.
Teams are asked to fundraise or make a donation to the Official Event Charities, the Triathlon Trust and the Prince’s Trust, to help ensure the event doesn’t just end at the finish line.
