Fyn ITU Multisport World Championships

The Multisport world championships came to an end after ten days of glorious competition in Denmark. This weekend’s racing saw a second gold for the inspiring Gill Fullen in the Long Distance Championships, and elite medals from Hannah Kitchen and Chloe Pollard in the Aquathlon. Read more HERE.

In ten days of racing the Great Britain elite and Age Group teams won 132 medals. Is someone you know a world champion? Roll of honour HERE.

IRONMAN UK

Bolton had to make changes to the bike course based on the recent wild fires. Those changes shortened the bike course, but introduced some brutally steep climbs. Joe Skipper won the men’s race and Lucy Gossage chalked up a fifth and final win. She plans to retire from professional racing at the end of this year to focus on her other profession, oncology and a project, along with Gill Fullen, to  cancer patients about exercising during treatment. Race report HERE.

British Age-Group Sprint Distance Triathlon Championships

James Wilson and Jane Hodgson sprinted to overall victory in Northumberland as champions were crowned in age groups from under 20 to 75-79. Who were they? Find out HERE.
