The ITU World Triathlon Leeds 2018 is delighted to announce Heart Yorkshire as the Official Radio Supplier for the world-class event, taking place on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 June 2018.
Heart Yorkshire will be on hand throughout the two days supporting thousands of triathletes who will be enjoying the challenge of the ITU World Triathlon Leeds 2018.
With over 75,000 fans in attendance last year, another great turnout is expected when triathlon hits the city in June. The world’s elite will tie up a weekend extravaganza of triathlon in what will be the fourth leg of the ITU World Triathlon Series.
With distances for all abilities taking place over the course of the weekend it is a date to be placed firmly in the diary. Heart Yorkshire will be on hand over the weekend to present an array of family activities in the Event Village and bring to life Leeds as the triathlon city.
Heart Breakfast’s Dixie and Emma will also be taking part in the GO TRI race.
Thousands have already signed up to take on the event, with standard distance entries already surpassing the total number of entrants from the previous year. Heart Breakfast’s Dixie and Emma will also be taking part in the GO TRI race and regularly updating listeners with their training progress.
