Here’s the domestic activity coming this weekend

With plenty of opportunity for GO TRI activity, here are the permitted events taking place this weekend.

South Central

Cowman, Longhorn, Calfman and Stampede Duathlons

Taking place in Emberton Country Park, this duathlon takes athletes on a cycle into Northamptonshire through Stoke Goldington and Olney. Participants have the choice between Calfman (10.5km run, 45km bike, 5.25km run), Cowman (21km run, 90km bike, 10.5km run) or Stampede (5.25km run, 22km bike, 5.25km run), with options to race either as individuals or as part of a team.

GO TRI Reading @ Green Park

This GO TRI involved a 2km lakeside run, a flat 8km cycle and a final 2km run. Inviting those of all abilities and fitness levels to take part, the Green Park GO TRI can be completed at your own pace.

South East

Gravesend Autumn Duathlon

The South East will host a duathlon event comprising of races for all abilities. The Gravesend Autumn Duathlon is not only available as a sprint distance race, made up of a 6km run, 20km bike and 3.5km run, but there’s also a GO TRI option of a 2.5km run, 12.5km bike and 2.5km run.

New to this event is also a children’s race taking place later in the day, offering various distances for TriStar 1, 2, 3 and Start.

Yorkshire

GO TRI Hull October 2020

Away from any traffic, the Ennerdale Cycle Track is the perfect venue for beginner participants to give multisport a go this weekend. Welcoming any and all abilities, the 8km duathlon is made up of a two-lap run, five-lap cycle and one-lap run to the finish with each lap being 1km.

All these events listed for this weekend have been issued with a British Triathlon event permit, meaning their safety documentation and Covid-19 Secure measures have met the required standards. You can find further upcoming events on the event search buttons below.
