In June 2018, British Triathlon appointed Mike Cavendish as Performance Director, after working as Deputy Performance Director at UK Athletics.

Mike began his new role on Monday 3 September 2018 and had to hit the ground running as after three days he was on a plane to the Gold Coast, Australia for the ITU World Championships. The Grand Final saw the British team claim numerous medals including 7 Bronze, 15 Silver and 13 Gold, along with Vicky Holland becoming the ITU World Champion. 

So, after a month in the world of triathlon, we thought it was time to get to know him a bit better and asked him as many quick fire questions as we could in one minute, leading to the aptly titled #MikeInAMinute, watch the video below now!
