Across the 7 and 8 September, developing athletes from across Britain took to Mallory Park for the season ending British Triathlon Big Weekend. The weekend saw the Youth & Junior Super Series and Senior Series draw to a close, as well as the Inter-Regional Championships and Accenture Mixed Relay Cup take place.
Saturday 7 September
Saturday saw the culmination of the season’s work as the Youth & Junior Super Series and Senior Super Series concluded, and TriStar 2 and 3 athletes raced for the Inter-Regional Championships.
Competitive racing across the season brought the athletes to Mallory Park for the seventh and final point scoring race in the Youth & Junior Super Series.
Sunday 8 September
Sunday saw mixed relay racing take over the schedule. Regional teams raced in TriStar and Youth and Junior races, as the athletes tested their skills and gained invaluable experience of mixed relay racing.
