British Triathlon have teamed up with the Official Great Britain Age-Group Team Travel Providers, Nirvana, along with Bermuda Tourism and to bring British Triathlon Home Nation members an exclusive deal.
Recently crowned ITU World Champion, Flora Duffy is inviting members to join her on her home island of Bermuda for the newest addition to the ITU World Triathlon Series in 2018.
The offer allows British Triathlon Home Nation members entering either the sprint of standard distance race at 2018 ITU World Triathlon Bermuda to bring a friend to race alongside them for free, allowing even more triathlon memories to be made.
Taking place 28 April 2018, the race location boasts warm, crystal-blue Atlantic waters, a hilly bike terrain and picturesque views along the colourful run course.
Athletes will need to register their spot on the startline by 31 December 2017 in order to take advantage of the free race place for a friend. To book your place, you need to:
- Go to bermuda.triathlon.org
- Choose your distance (sprint or standard)
- Provide your Home Nation membership number and fill in the name of your friend
- Book your race slot
- Receive an entry code for your friend via e-mail
This will be the first time Bermuda has held an ITU World Triathlon Series event after recently signing a three-year deal with ITU. Bermuda offers all athletes a perfect location to begin their season with lots to do around the island before and after competing.
Nirvana are expected to release their exclusive travel and accommodation packages for age-group athletes travelling to Bermuda within the coming weeks, but entry is now open via the ITU World Triathlon Bermuda website.
