Now we’re in 2018, triathletes and newcomers alike are searching for events to compete in. They’re ready to burn off the mince pies and are looking for their local event, but is your club’s event ready to receive them?

2018 Event Registration is open, so please register your events through the Event Organiser System (EOS). The earlier you register your event and pay your deposit, the earlier it will be listed on our Event Search webpage for competitors to find and enter. If you don’t pay your deposit, your event won’t be listed! With around 300,000 hits per year our event search webpage is a great way to attract new people to your event and is only available to British Triathlon permitted events.

Your pre-race information (Risk Assessment/Safeguarding Risk Assessment) is due no later than 2 months before your event so that we can check and challenge your hazard mitigation, ahead of permitting your event. Through being an affiliated club, you receive Public Liability Insurance through your affiliation and through permitting with us your competitors who aren’t Triathlon England members, can buy Day Membership, ensuring that they have appropriate Public Liability cover to race.

For support in writing a risk assessment, safeguarding risk assessment or guidance on running your event, we have provided guides on the Resources and Guidance section of the EOS for you to use.   

To make your event management even simpler, why not make use of our Online Entry. For a small 4% admin charge, you can manage your event and online entry all in the same place. This can be done through the EOS and entry will be directly from your event page on our Events Search.
