Safeguarding Training Opportunities

Published:

During 2018, British Triathlon will be offering further training and development opportunities for clubs, around the important areas of safeguarding and welfare.

Time to Listen courses

From Autumn 2018, British Triathlon and Triathlon England will be extending it's commitment to safeguarding children and young people by providing a series of face to face training opportunities for Club Welfare Officers.

A programme of ten Time to Listen courses will be delivered throughout 2018/2019 in England, which are accredited by the NSPCC's Child Protection in Sport Unit.

The training will be tailored to Club Welfare Officers working and volunteering in triathlon and will provide the opportunity for clubs to up skill their workforce.

Workshops will be provided free of charge to Club Welfare Officers of British Triathlon affiliated clubs.

Full details will be available soon, please ensure you keep checking this article and look out for the July edition of the club newsletter.
