Day one at AJ Bell 2021 World Triathlon Leeds saw Saturday 5 June host racing from first-timers up to the world's best paratriathletes.

SPRINT AND AQUATHLON

Providing first-timers and novice triathletes with an accessible route into the sport that's tailored specifically for beginners, GO TRI participants set off from the pontoon as part of the morning's programme. Read more about GO TRI and today's action below.

Giving the next generation of triathletes centre-stage in Roundhay Park, Youth, TriStar 2 and TriStar 3 athletes raced their way through the park and onto the finish outside Mansion House. Find out about the races by clicking below.

WORLD TRIATHLON PARA SERIES

Sunday 6 June will see the second day of AJ Bell 2021 World Triathlon Leeds welcome standard distance action for the open racing, Great Britain Age-Group Team qualifying, the Yorkshire Championships and British Championships before elite triathlon racing in the World Triathlon Championship Series.
