In aid of NHS Charities Together and Move Against Cancer: 5K Your Way, Tri Training Harder hosted a one-day virtual event with a series of speakers and Q&A panels, and it’s still available to view online.
Tri Training Harder, a British Triathlon affiliated club, organised the event with the aim to raise money for the two charities and to provide support and development opportunities for athletes of all levels.
Amongst the speakers were a mix of scientists, coaches, authors and an athlete or two, to give their insight and advice on training during the lockdown.
The different sessions included, among others, panel discussions about COVID-19 and nutrition and mental wellbeing, what triathlon might look like after the crisis and a coaching Q&A hosted by Joanne Murphy from Tri Talking Sport, as well as hearing from author Joe Friel.
There was also opportunity to hear from British paratriathlete George Peasgood and elite guide and IRONMAN pro Nikki Bartlett in a panel discussion that also included Ruth Astle who turned pro having been the fastest age grouper in Kona last year and British Middle Distance Champion Will Munday.
The sessions are all still available on the Tri Training Harder website, and you can register to watch them and donate via the link below.
