All three were representing Great Britain over the sprint distance at Africa Triathlon Cup Tangier and it was a British one-two out of the 750m sea swim, with Lund closely followed by Dey into transition one.

Onto the bike and this is where Chantler-Mayne moved up the field, recording one of the fastest bike splits of the day to put himself towards the front heading onto the 5km run.

Chantler-Mayne crossed the line finish line 10th to continue a season that’s included second place overall in the British Triathlon Senior Super Series and a world U23 and junior mixed relay silver medal.

Lund was the next Brit to finish in 13th while Marcus Dey was 23rd.
