Following on from the individual race success on Saturday, Great Britain’s triathletes won Mixed Relay gold at the Velence ETU U23 Triathlon European Championships in Hungary on Sunday.

The team was led off by individual gold medal winner, Georgia Taylor Brown followed by Sam Dickinson, Sian Rainsley and James Teagle. Dickinson, who suffered a puncture in his individual race, was involved in a crash whilst leading on the bike, but recovered more quickly than his rivals to help put Great Britain in front.
Sian Rainsley, who won individual bronze, and James Teagle finished off the race brilliantly to win gold ahead of the Russian team. Teagle started the final leg with a lead and despite the pressure and glare of being tracked by the TV motorbike throughout, he crossed the line to secure the win for Great Britain to finish off a brilliant team effort in style.
