Duathlon titles awarded in Scotland, Tim Don takes silver in Cannes and Lesley Paterson heads into Pontevedra on the back of a win

Scottish National Duathlon Championships
The 2019 Stirling Duathlon standard distance race hosted the Scottish National Duathlon Championships this weekend having been resceduled from the end of March.
In the men's race Ewan Brown (Unattached) put his name onto the trophy with a times of 1:48:47. Nicholas Allen (Edinburgh University Triathlon Club) (1:52:40) claimed a hard fought second place over Andrew Woodrooffe (1:52:49) who finished third.
Alison Mackenzie (Fusion Triathlon Club) earned her place at the top of the podium with a blistering bike run to finish in a time of 2:05:02, with Anne Ewing (Meta Tri Division) in second (2:05:55) and Kirsty O’Brien (Lanark Triathlon Club) in third (2:11:20).

Bouncing back from a mechanical at IM South Africa, Tim Don was in fine form at Cannes International Triathlon, taking the silver medal behind Australian Cameron Wurf.
There wasn't much time between the pair following the bike leg which featured a number of tough climbs and descents, but Wurf managed to pull way on the run to finish almost two minute clear.
XTERRA Greece
Great Britain’s Lesley Paterson took the win at XTERRA Greece on Sunday, and with the ITU Cross Triathlon World Championships shortly due to be taking place in Pontevedra, Spain, the reigning World Champion will be looking to continue her run of victories and retain the title.
