Malmö ETU Sprint Triathlon European Cup

Kate Waugh was back on the podium as she took silver in the Elite women’s race finishing 10 seconds behind race winner Jessica Fullagar of France. There were also strong performances from fellow Brits Jenny Manners and Sophie Alden as they came home in sixth and seventh. Zoe Thomas finished 29th

Iestyn Harrett finished the Elite men’s race as the top Brit finishing 14th with Grant Sheldon 54th on his return from injury. 

Jimmy Kershaw: Did not finish. 



Tabor ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup

Britain’s Isabel Atkins secured a top 30 finish by finishing 26th at the Tabor ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup with athletes having swam 750m, cycled 20km and ran 5km.



Parc Bryn Bach

World Triathlon Series Mixed Relay Nottingham gold medallist Ben Dijkstra took victory in the Senior men’s race at the fifth and penultimate round of the British Triathlon Senior Super Series at Parc Bryn Bach. Dijkstra secured gold and finished in a time of 54:34.

Bronwen Owen won the Senior women’s race finishing 40 seconds clear of Olivia Matthews. Sophia Green won gold in the Junior female race with Marcus Dey taking the Junior male title.



British Para Super Sprint - Parc Bryn Bach

In the British Para Super Sprint races also held at Parc Bryn Bach, Philip Barker (PTS5) won the men’s race overall. Ciara Roulston (PTS5) came out on top in the women’s race.

In the men’s PTS4 category, Michael Taylor pipped Finley Jakes to the line by one second to take victory and in the women’s PTS1 category, Georgina Lord took the win ahead of Sophie Taylor.

Mark Dominic Conway took the men’s PTS1 crown in Wales.



Ironman Tallinn

Corinne Abraham took a memorable win at Ironman Tallinn to take gold in Estonia. Compatriot Kimberley Morrison also finished in the top three winning bronze.



Super League Triathlon Ottawa

The final Super League Triathlon Qualifier in Ottawa saw Oliver Turner miss out on a place to qualify for the Super League Triathlon Championship Series that gets underway next month.

Turner made it into the final Eliminator race on Sunday following two previous Eliminator races on the same day and an Enduro race on Saturday. Turner finished the final Eliminator race in ninth with the top three securing golden tickets to the Championship Series.
