Super League Singapore

The 2018-19 Championship series concludes this weekend in the stunning setting of Sentosa Cove, Singapore with Jonathan Brownlee, Lucy Hall and Oliver Turner all set to toe the start line.

An epic showdown awaits as both the men’s and women’s fields fight for the victory across the Championship Weekend, but also chase double points in the race to become Series Champion! Jonathan Brownlee currently sits in 4th place overall after achieving a podium spot in Mallorca and will be looking to capitilise on the heavier point weighting across the Eliminator and Enduro formats in play this weekend.

The 'Eliminator' Format

Three stages of traditional swim-bike-run (300m swim, 5km bike, 2km run) whereby athletes need to hold their ground and watch their backs in each stage to finish high enough to not be eliminated whilst managing their effort against fatigue.

The 'Enduro' Format

The Enduro is a non-stop burst of swim-bike-run-swim-bike-run-swim-bike-run without any break. The added element of speed is tied into the race demands of The Enduro, with the two slowest athletes at the end of each discipline being eliminated immediately.

Where to Watch

Coverage of Saturday's Eliminator and Sunday's Enduro both begin at 7am, with steaming available via the Super League Triathlon website, TriathlonLive and on the BBC Red Button, website and app.
