Groupe Copley World Triathlon Montreal

Georgia Taylor-Brown travels to Montreal to continue on momentum from her individual win in the World Series at Leeds, and is joined by Jess Learmonth, who currently sits 2nd in the overall series rankings with three podiums so far in 2019, and Jodie Stimpson who will be looking to further build on recent performances since returning from injury.

Tom Bishop is the only British male on the start list having only missed the Bermuda leg of the 2019 series so far.

Groupe Copley World Paratriathlon Series Montreal

 

Britain’s top paratriathletes will be aiming to take their first steps towards the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games with success at the ITU World Paratriathlon Series in Montreal. Paralympic silver medallist Lauren Steadman (PTS5) makes her return to international competition in 2019 and will be looking to put in a strong performance in Montreal. She will come up against team-mate Claire Cashmore (PTS5) who won silver at the World Paratriathlon Series in Yokohama.

In total a nine-strong British Paratriathlon squad will take to the start line in Montreal on 28 June.

Târgu Mures ETU Multisport European Championships

Over 800 triathletes from the Great Britain Age-Group Team will be heading to Romania to take part in the European Multisport Championships from 29 June – 7 July. Cross Triathlon, Cross Duathlon and Duathlon feature over the opening weekend with Aquathlon, Aquabike and Middle Distance formats to follow throughout the week.

Holten ETU Triathlon European Cup

The Netherlands plays host to the latest round of the european continental cup with both a Senior and Junior competition. British Triathlon Senior Super Series male leader Harry Leleu is one of twenty British athletes across the start lists and enters his first international competition of 2019 on good form after winning in Cardiff

Super League Triathlon Poznan

 

Another chance to qualify for the Championship Series that begins in Jersey on 28 September is on offer this weekend in Poland, as athletes take on the Triple Mix format in search of a golden ticket. Chris Perham and Zoe Thomas both experienced short sharp racing at the ETU indoor triathlon earlier this year with good results, whilst Oliver Turner will look to use his experience from the 2018-19 series to his advantage in claiming a spot again on the line-up in Jersey.

Leeds Castle

The Leeds Castle Standard Triathlon this weekend is the last opportunity to qualify for the Age-Group team at the 2020 Edmonton ITU Standard Distance Triathlon World Championships. Competitors will start the swim in the castle's moat before cycling and running in and around the grounds and local area.

Ironman Frankfurt

There's a long list of big name athletes lining up in in Germany this weekend with the added lure of the Ironman European Championship crown. Joe Skipper who was 7th in Kona in 2018 and Sam Proctor will be up the holders of the last four World tiltes in Patrick Lange and Jan Frodeno, whilst Sarah Lewis and Kimberley Morrison will be up against the formidable Anne Haug who is competing on home soil.

Ironman 70.3 Finland

2012 Olympian Lucy Hall is making her 70.3 Ironman debut this weekend in Lahti, Finland as eight Britain's feature on the pro start list. This event is relatively unique in it's start time of 4pm with athletes able to witness the nordic midnight sun as they cross the finish line.
