Highlights include the British Age-Group Middle Distance Triathlon Championships taking place in Rutland, Leicestershire and the Ironman 70.3 World Championships.
British Age-Group Middle Distance Triathlon Championships
Leicestershire’s Rutland Water will be showcasing some of Britain’s top middle-distance talent this weekend, as The Vitruvian returns to the calendar. Established in 2003, the event has gone from strength to strength and is now a firm favourite amongst athletes across the country.

Zagreb ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup
Cameron Main is the only British athlete making the trip to Zagreb for one of the final European junior cups of the season. He’s part of a massive field of male 80 athletes taking part.

Almere-Amsterdam ETU Challenge Long Distance Triathlon European Championships
The European Long Distance Triathlon Championships in Holland feature former British Ironman record holder, Joe Skipper. The course is so flat that much if it is even below sea-level, but it can be prone to farce headwinds. Skipper is the only British elite entry, but there’s a large group of Age-Group athletes taking part.

Ironman 70.3 World Championships
It could have been another Brownlee vs Gomez thriller, but Alistair’s recent surgery has ruled him out of the Ironman 70.3 World Championships. Gomez is a former winner, but won’t have it all his own way and hopefully, Britain’s Tim Don will be one of the athletes to push him. Holly Lawrence is fancied as the pre race favourite in the women’s race, but again, she’s part of a talented field of the best middle distance athletes in the world. The race takes place in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Saturday.

Ironman Wales
Closer to home there's Ironman Wales in Tenby featuring pro and Age Group athletes in what looks to be tough conditions on Sunday.
