Accenture World Triathlon Mixed Relay Nottingham

Mixed Relay returns to Victoria Embankment, Nottingham on Saturday as 15 international teams compete for qualification points ahead of the event making it's debut at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. However due to the persistent rainfall over the last week in the Nottingham area the decision has been made in consultation with a number of stakeholders and water safety experts, including Nottingham City Council and the Environment Agency to run the event as a duathlon (Full details here).

Last year Britain secured a silver medal behind the USA in Nottingham and this years team of Georgia Taylor-Brown, Alex Yee, Sophie Coldwell and Ben Dijkstra will hope to be boosted by the support of a home crowd to step onto the podium once again.

This years event also includes the British Age-Group Standard Distance Championships (draft-legal) alongside TriStar, GO TRI and open sprint waves (draft-illegal) which welcome participants of all levels to compete on much of the same course as the elites.

Watch the elite race live on BBC Two from 4pm on Saturday 15 June
