Published:

After an action packed first ITU World Series race in Abu Dhabi, our Commonwealth Games bound athletes have headed over to the Gold Coast, some with snow delays thanks to the Beast from the East. Once again, there is plenty going on this weekend, including the ITU World Cup in Mooloolaba and the first ITU Sprint Distance Duathlon Qualifier.

2018 Mooloolaba ITU Triathlon World Cup

The 2018 Mooloolaba ITU Triathlon World Cup sees four athletes representing Great Britain on Saturday. Commonwealth Games representatives, Iestyn Harrett (Wales), Grant Sheldon (Scotland) and Beth Potter (Scotland) will take on a 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run along with Joshua Lewis, who will represent Guernsey next month.

A few of the Commonwealth Games’ key challengers will be racing, including Richard Murrary (RSA), Ryan Sissons (NZL), Joanna Brown (CAN) and Charlotte McShane (AUS).
