Kecskemét ETU Sprint Triathlon European Cup
There will be a strong British presence in central Hungary as the ETU Sprint Triathlon European Cup takes place in Kecskemét.
Bronwen Owen will be competing in the Elite women’s race on the back of winning the Senior female race at Parc Bryn Bach. Owen will be in Hungary along with fellow Brits Zoe Thomas, Jenny Manners, Sian Rainsley, Issy Morris and Chloe Cook.
Following a bronze medal in the Senior men’s category at Parc Bryn Bach, Jack Willis will be one of seven British men hoping to challenge for a podium finish in Kecskemét. Iestyn Harrett, Harry Leleu, Cameron Harris, Guy Evans-Haggerty, Jimmy Lund and Cameron Main along with Willis will be representing Great Britain.
Aberfeldy Triathlon
The fourth and final round of the British Championships heads to Scotland with the British Triathlon Middle Distance Triathlon Championships to take place at the Aberfeldy Triathlon. The race will provide a final opportunity for home nation members to take home a coveted British Triathlon title.
Hertfordshire Triathlon
This weekend’s Hertfordshire Triathlon will play host to the National Sprint Distance Triathlon Championships, the fourth round of the Triathlon England National Championships. The race will also be a 2020 ETU Sprint Distance Triathlon European Championship Qualifier with athletes aiming to qualify for next year’s Sprint Distance Triathlon European Championships in Malmo, Sweden.
Ironman Sweden
Harry Wiltshere and Sam Proctor will be flying the flag for Great Britain in Sweden as athletes will swim 3.8km in the Kalmar strait, part of the Baltic Sea, cycle 180km and go onto a 42.2km run.
Ironman Copenhagen
Following her win at Ironman Tallinn earlier this month, Britain’s Corinne Abraham will be targeting a second Ironman victory in August as she competes at this weekend’s Ironman Copenhagen. Abraham will be joined on the start line by fellow Brits Kimberley Morrison and Sarah Lewis.
