There’s a global feel to this weekend’s race schedule, with a big British contingent in Denmark for the ETU Powerman championships as well as significant races in Australia and Italy. Closer to home, there’s the rearranged Clumber Duathlon championships, which were disrupted by the Beast from the East in March. With Nottinghamshire in mind, there’s just over a month until the ITU Mixed Relays come to town, quickly followed by the ITU World Triathlon Leeds.

IRONMAN Australia, Port Macquarie

IRONMAN New Zealand champion Laura Siddel is up against a predominately Australian field, including former ITU racer, Annabelle Luxford at IRONMAN Australia in Port Macquarie on Sunday.

Challenge Riccione

Riccione, Italy hosts the next race in the Challenge family series on Sunday. Alice Hector, who celebrated a third victory in a row at the Volcano Triathlon in Lanzarote last weekend, will be competing.

2018 Vejle ETU Powerman Middle Distance Duathlon European Championships

Denmark hosts the 2018 ETU Powerman Middle Distance Duathlon European Championships on Sunday. Ben Price contests the elite event whilst a large team of British Age Group athletes will take on the course in pursuit of European titles in their respective age categories. Mick Anglim is Britain’s most senior competitor and is looking to retain his European title in the 70-74 age group. The course covers a 10km run, 60km bike and a final 10km run around the town of Vejle.
