Jackson's Wharf, Hartlepool Marina

Hartlepool Borough Council Feel Good project delivered a very informative, friendly and fun novice open water swim session on Thursday 3rd August. Kay Stokes a Triathlon Activator and British Triathlon coach gave advice on how to put on a wetsuit, water safety and acclimatisation techniques. 

The session recognised and covered any anxieties relating to Open Water swimming by introducing methods to overcome them. There were nine participants at Hartlepool Marina and all really enjoyed it. 

If you would like to be involved in the next Open Water novice swimming session which also covers sighting, deep water starts and swimming in close proximity then please come along to the next one which is scheduled for the 14th September at 6pm.
