National Workforce Awards
All of our winners go through to the National Award panel and at our national AGM in Birmingham at the weekend we had two winners.
Congratulations to Grant Bezuidenhout (GO TRI Organiser of the year) and Steve Turner (Childrens Coach of the Year)
They both got the top accolade in their category at the Triathlon England National awards Ceremony
Grant fended off strong opposition to become the Triathlon England GoTri Organiser of the Year 2019. This is the 2nd year on the trot that the NE has won this award, showing what good GoTri events we have in our region.
Steve won the Children’s Coach of the Year 2019 and was so humble that he actually got up when they announced 2nd place and sat down puzzled realising they’d said someone else’s name and then it slowly dawned on him that meant he had won and the change in his face as he realised.
CONGRATULATIONS to you both, what a great representation of our region.
