In partnership with Limb Power and Manchester Triathlon Club, the training day is specifically aimed at amputees and individuals with limb impairments, who are looking to take part in Triathlon.
The session will be led by British Triathlon qualified coaches from Manchester Triathlon Club.
The sessions are designed to cover swim, bike and run activities, so by the end of the day you will have the skills and knowledge to participate in a GO TRI or triathlon event.
The day will take place at Partington Sports Village which offers disability parking. For a full acces guide click here.
Participants will be required to bring swimming and running kit, lunch, water, sun cream and hats. Bikes can provided on the day, please conatct Oliver Heald prior to the day.

Saturday 23rd July
8:45 – Meet and greet registration
9:00 – Welcome Presentation and What is Triathlon? (Community Room)
9:30 – Swim Session (Swimming Pool)
10:30-11:00 – Change and meet in the community room. Time for a snack
11:00 – Bike and Transition skills (Concrete Courts)
12:30 Lunch
13:30 – Introduction to running (Concrete Courts)
14:30-15:00 – Break and get changed
15:00-16:00 – Introductory GO TRI, 50 m swim, 6 laps (concrete courts) bike, 1 lap (field) run
16:00 – Finish
