All you need to know about what’s coming up on the Senior Super Series in 2021
Introduction
The British Triathlon Senior Super Series provides high-level competitive racing opportunities for Senior and U23 athletes within the British Triathlon pathway, supporting them with events to take part in against athletes of the same level.
Athletes will compete throughout the year at individual races to earn points for the series, with the overall winners crowned at the final race of the series.
Prize money will be given to the top five male and female finishers at each Senior Super Series leg, as well as the top five in the overall series rankings after the final race.
This will be awarded as: 1st place - £500, 2nd place - £400, 3rd place - £300, 4th place - £200 and 5th place - £100. Athletes must compete in at least three events to be eligible for the overall series title and prize money.
In a further update for the 2021 season, five spaces for Age-Group athletes will be provided at each Senior Super Series leg. Further details can be found here.
Covid-19 Restrictions
Due to Covid-19 racing in 2021 will look different to normal, and all races on the Senior Super Series will be subject to British Triathlon guidance for events and event organisers, ensuring that they are safe to race at.
Covid-19 Secure measures will be communicated by the organisers of the different races in the build up to the event, but please be aware that these may differ when racing across Britain and may also affect spectators as well as participants.
