We are pleased to confirm the decision for the sprint and standard distance Triathlon England South West Regional Championships 2018.
Hosting the standard distance event for the first time will be Bustinskins with their Weymouth Classic held on 19th August 2018. This event can host up to 500 athletes and has been BTF accredited for the past ten years. Bustinskins have been organising multipart events for almost 12 years. This is the first time we have appointed Bustinskins to run a regional championship and we look forward to working with them.

Entry cost is £55 for any BTF member including South West. Non-BTF members would be charged £60, and of course are not eligible for our regional championship.
The host for our sprint distance event remains The Cotswold Triathlon organised by TriFerris Promotions held on 9th September 2018. Capable of supporting up to a total of 650 athletes and a much loved South West event we are pleased to keep working with Lorraine and her very experienced team and this well organised very enjoyable event for all.

Entry cost is on an early bird as we go to press with Triathlon England / BTF members entry at £40.50 until June 1st and then £43.50 thereafter. Non-BTF members not only will be charges £5 more, but also of course are not eligible for our championship entry.

Our regional championships are a ‘race within a race’ so your objective to win in your age group will simply be to be the first South West based Triathlon England member over the finish line. Every first placed male and female in relevant age groups will win a trophy and the kudos of calling themselves a Triathlon England Regional Championship AG winner. As well as the age groups there will be an overall winner. This is the first TESW athlete home overall and the male and female that does this will win a second larger overall trophy and the title South West Regional Champion.
