Regional Championships
If you don’t know our regional championships are coming up then where have you been the past three months? Our first championship is the standard distance hosted by our newest hosts Bustinskin THIS WEEKEND. Now the event is already sold out so its spectator space only, but what a day it will be with our age-group regional champions being crowned by our Vice-Chairman Jane Wild.
If you are gutted to have missed this fear not the sprint regional championship hosted by regional favourite TriFerris Promotions on September 9th and that can still be entered, but don’t wait, too long, this event always sells out! You can enter here https://www.entrycentral.com/cotswold_triathlon
Regional Awards
Our regional awards deadline is also fast approaching only next week! If you sit on a club committee you should by now have proposed your club. If you run a club or commercial event theres an award for each of those as well. What about volunteer of the year? Do you have club coach that is always available come rain or shine - have you proposed them? What about a member that has made significant progress this year such as their first long distance race, or completed an event in tough circumstances, there’s an award for that as well. In fact there are thirteen award categories this year, more than ever before! See the full list below.

Each winner will receive a logo as well as a presentation by our regional chairman Ashley at the AGM October 13th in Bath. The logo will be able to be used on-line, in emails and marketing communications for commercial and other benefit through 2018/19 season. If you haven proposed anyone for an award yet get on it! Criteria and application form both attached. Completed form to be emailed to davidhooper@britishtriathlon.org by 5pm Friday 24th August latest.
