MEET THE PANELLISTS

Holly Woodford

Holly has spent decades working in the sport, fitness and health market and grew increasingly frustrated by the way the sport, fitness and diet industry sets women up to fail. Outdated sports clubs, thirty day quick fix diets and extreme exercise routines do not make you happier, healthier or more active she says.

Holly is passionate about helping people of all ages become more active and using technology to enable mass populations to become more physically active and nutritionally fuelled for a healthier lifestyle. Holly co-founded Her Spirit with Mel Berry in 2018 which has inspired 14,000 women across the UK to be fitter, stronger and healthier. Holly leads the development of the Her Spirit digital platform and their behaviour change modelling.

Holly has held a range of board level and senior management roles, most notably working as Executive Director at England Hockey, Head of Development at Sport England, Community Director at WeGoDo.com and Chief Executive Officer of GoPlayGo. She is a past board chair of Active Devon and a past board member of London Sports Board and Women In Sport.
