Director of Safeguarding and Child Protection
Bethan is an experienced solicitor. Having started her career in private practice as a commercial litigator at Hogan Lovells, Bethan then worked as a lawyer for The Football Association in London (FA) in a varied role encompassing (amongst other things) advising on regulatory, contentious and safeguarding issues and FA competitions. Bethan is current the Head of Regulations at the England and Wales Cricket Board where she advises on rules, regulations, policies and procedures and works closely with the wider integrity team.
Bethan is the board champion for safeguarding at Welsh Triathlon. Bethan is also a member of the Board of Appeal of Classification for the International Paralympic Committee.
Bethan is a keen sports enthusiast and enjoys travelling to far-flung destinations.
