Club affiliation is now open for 2023 (1^st January – 31^st December)!

Club affiliation comes with a range of benefits for your club and it’s members. One of the key benefits of affiliating is the insurance cover provided for your club. By completing the affiliation process, this insurance comes into place from the 1^st of January 2023. This insurance cover includes: Public and Products Liability (up to £10,000,000), Professional Indemnity (up to £10,000,000), Directors and Officers Liability (up to £5,000,000).

Some of the other benefits include discounted individual Welsh Triathlon membership for club members, free DBS checks for eligible club volunteers, use of the ‘Affiliated Club’ logo and certificate, and dedicated support from Welsh Triathlon. A full set of the benefits for affiliated clubs can be found here. We are always working to increase the package of benefits for clubs and will add more through 2023.

We would urge you to begin the affiliation process as soon as possible so that you are protected and can begin to access the benefits of club affiliation. In order to affiliate/reaffiliate, visit the club management section of our website and complete the affiliation form. If reaffiliating, most of the information will be pre-populated from last year, but please check through it before submitting to ensure it is correct. We have also produced a short animation to help you to get everything ready for affiliating which is available below.

Once your application has been received and approved, you will be asked to make payment. As soon as this is all completed, your affiliation and insurance will be activated for 2023.
