What are Skills School Days?
Skills School days are a great opportunity for young triathletes to develop their triathlon skills in a fun and engaging environment.  Each day will be led by your regional Skills School Lead Coach and supported by qualified British Triathlon Coaches.
The day’s activities will be built upon our world class Skills Development framework and will vary from day to day.

Who’s it for?

Skills School days are primarily for athletes committed to exploring personal excellence using the Skills School principles.
Those wishing to attend must be able to meet the 5-5-5 criteria. This is the ability to swim, bike and run for 5minutes continually in each of the three. There are no other performance requirements for attending a Skills School day.
Athletes must be between the ages of 10- 16yrs. Having some experience of triathlon whilst not essential will be beneficial.

It’s also a great day for coaches to develop their knowledge working with junior athletes. Up to 6 club coaches can attend the day. The coaches will have the opportunity to develop their coaching skills in line with the Skills School ethos with problem based learning through game based sessions.  Coaches should book directly through the Skill School Lead Coach for West Midlands at the email address provided.
