In 2019 Triathlon England West Midlands are using Entry Central to collate details of those TS2 & TS3 BTF West Midlands members who wish to try and qualify to represent the region at the IRCS.   

There is no charge for registering your intention to try and qualify to reperesent the West Midlands at the IRCs.

Date - IRCS at Mallory Park 7/8 September 2019 

The format of 20’s festival is:

• Saturday the Regional IRCs 
• Sunday Mixed Relays.

Initially, the West Midlands need's to know how many TS2 & TS3 are looking to try and qualify at the event in Nottingham on 15th June and this information is also being used for invitations to regional development sessions (you have to opt into invitations during the sign up).

Who is eligible?
Anyone wishing to qualify to represent the West Midlands at the 2019 IRCs must:

• Live in the West Midlands or be a member of a West Midlands British Triathlon affiliated club
• It is essential that West Midlands Region is shown on your race licence 
• Athletes can only represent the region shown on their Triathlon England race licence at national races

The 2019 IRC Qualifying Event  is  to be in Nottingham 15th June and prioirty entry details have been sent (by BTF) to eligable West Midlands TE members. 

There will only be ONE qualification race (see above about which race) and it is expected that anyone wishing to be considered for Team WM participates in this race. Entry details for the event will be updated when they are available.

A scanned copy of both sides of the Triathlon England race licence must be e-mailed to westmidstri@outlook.com prior to the qualifying event, 15th June.

The first three West Midlands TS2 and TS3 females and males in both age groups at the qualifying event will be selected to represent Team WM at the British Triathlon Under 20’s Festival at Mallory Park, Leicester on the weekend 7/8 September 2019 as shown above. 

The 4th placed athlete in each of the TS2 and TS3 categories female and male will also be selected to represent Team WM in the Mixed Team Relay on the Sunday and will be the travelling reserve for the individual event on the Saturday.

In the event of the qualifier being cancelled or postponed a decision will be made by the West Midlands Regional Committee for selection for the IRC's.

All team members will be required to attend IRC training sessions, as follows
