Level 1 and 2 courses now open

Whatever the reason for coaching, it can be a rich and rewarding role helping others develop and achieve their personal triathlon challenges. The role of the coach is vital to the success of all participants at every level. 

At the moment we have one of each course based in Warwickshire. There may be further course dates in Worcester but this is to be confirmed yet. 

Level 1:

This qualification will allow coaches to deliver sessions independently. Accessible to all learners, an understanding of triathlon is useful but not essential.

Course content includes the following

• Safety in coaching triathlon activities. 
• Preparing sessions for delivery.
• Develop key coaching and technical skills.

Date - 27th, 28th October and 25th November 

Time - 8.30-5.00pm 

Where - The Xcel Leisure Centre, Mitchel Road, Coventry, CV48DY

Level 2:

This course is accessible to learners who hold a Level 1 triathlon coaching qualification or who have experience of coaching and meet the direct entry requirements.

Course Content includes the following 

• Understanding and analysing athletes.
• Planning a series of sessions.
• Working with  a range of ages, abilities and aspirations.
• Coaching safety including open water swimming.

Date - 19th, 20th January, 16th, 17th February and 18th May 

Time - 8.30-5.00pm
