We have a great range of bursaries to offer to all clubs

The West Midlands Region are offering a number of bursaries available for all the West Midlands clubs. 

We have the following avilable: 

Level 1 Coaching in Triathlon

The bursary is for £175 for each person attending the course. 

A club is only able to apply for a level 1 bursary if they are either of the following:

• A brand new club 
• A club who is working closely with the Regional Manager to develop
• A club who is working towards a development plan and can fully explain to the committee why they need a bursary 
• You cannot apply if you have been turned down elsewhere i.e. council/ county sport partnerships. 
• Clubs can apply for up to 2 level 1 bursaries per calendar year.

Level 2/3 Coaching in Triathlon 

The bursary for L2 is for £175 for each person attending the course. 

The bursary for L3 is for £300 for each person attending the course. 

West Midlands clubs can apply for 1 level 2 bursary per calendar year. 

Separate conditions apply for L3. Please check the application form.

For coaching courses 

The club has to complete the application form and submit the necessary evidence. Once your member has completed their course and a certificate can be provided, the bursary can be paid. 

Terms and conditions:

• The club must pay the full course fee for each individual they request a bursary for
• Coaches must be a TE member and a member of the TE affiliated club throughout for insurance reasons
• Coaches must be unpaid volunteers 
• Clubs must be non-commercial
