Bursary Scheme Administered by WMRC
West Midlands Region offer bursaries for coaching courses. Updated July 2024
There a single application form to apply for Foundation Coach, Group Coach and CPD bursary applications which can be found here. (Level 2 Diploma and HPCP are not included in the bursary scheme).
All of the WMRC bursaries are discretionary and reviewed accordingly. A copy of the current Club Development Plan and volunteer committments must be submitted with all Application forms.
All bursary applications must be submitted before the start of the course and include the attachments above. The completed application form, volunteer agreement and current Club Development plan are to be returned to West Midlands Regional committee. email West Midlands Tri .
New Foundation Coaching Courses
£200 per course -normally 2 bursaries club a calendar year
New Group Coaching Courses
£300 per course -normally 1 bursary club a calendar year
British Triathlon CPD
£100 per Club per course to cover fee and sharing activity.
Must provide information on how the CPD will be shared more widely within the Club and a copy of the club development plan agreed with Kirsty Outhwaite.
