Today the triathlon acted as the final qualifying race for the Inter Regional Champs Yorkshire team selection, with 6 girls and 6 boys chosen to represent Yorkshire at Mallory Park in August.

Another highlight of the day being that the Yorkshire Junior Triathlon Series has now had over 500 competitors taking part in the series this year showing Yorkshire Triathlon is in great health. 

Local GB Elite triathlete Mark Buckingham was on hand to give out the trophies with the top 3 Tri Star Boys (below L-R; Ethan Robert s-Cutts, Joe Sherman & Nathan Coy) also taking the 3 IRC slots for their Age Group.
