Join Castle Virtual Series for The Polar Bear

Published:

Taking place from the 19th to 21st February.

Brian Adcock from the Castle Series said "We were delighted with our first event Castle Virtual Series weekend of 2021 – The Arctic Monkey! This event saw competitors (aged 6 to 81 years old!) come together from Australia, France, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, New Zealand, USA and UK to run, walk, bike and yes even swim, across 23 race distances. Some athletes even braved snowy conditions and icy open water swims! It is great to be battling through the winter training and national lockdowns as a community, staying positive and motivated together. Now it is a new month and we’re focused on our next virtual race, The Polar Bear."

Will you be joining them to improve on your Arctic Monkey time? Will you be walking, running or sprinting? Pick your race from starter to middle-distance duathlons or triathlons, cycle 20k, 45k or 90k, walk or run 5k, 10k or a half marathon or maybe even take on a 1mile, 2.5k or 5k swim!

Every athlete racing gets a medal (or can donate cost of medal to Macmillan Cancer Support) and is entered into the prize draw to win a Ultimate Individual Kit Bag worth £500!

Looking for a way to motivate your club or company through lockdown? If you enter as a group you can enjoy discounted race places (5+ for £15% off, 10+ receive 25% off) and get entered into a prize draw for a chance win an Ultimate Club/Corporate Kit Bag!

  • “Thanks to Castle Series for getting me motivated. It wasn't about speed for me this weekend, just getting the miles in and having some fun!” Diane
  • “Enjoyed doing my 1st ever duathlon. Trying to stay upright was a bit challenging with the ice. All legs completed outside I rather enjoyed the cold sunny few days.” Natalie
  • “Our monkeys have had a real challenge. Tough course so goodbye road bike, hello mountain bike! Primary aim - no broken bones! Big lesson for the kids...it’s the taking part that counts.” Kelly
