Well done to everyone who took part.

The event successfully hosted by Wakefield Triathlon Club takes place within a self contained area at the end of Pugneys Lake. A fantastic venue for Junior racing, complete with open water, CycloCross style bike circuit and grass track run loop, all provide great spectating opportunities for family and friends. A special note of thanks to the organisers, who worked hard to get the kids through all their races ahead of schedule as the sun bore down relentlessly. 

The racing didn't disappoint with all the main clubs taking podium slots across the age groups. As a qualifier for the Yorkshire squad for the tri 2 & 3 age groups at the Inter Regional Champs, the blue Yorkshire tri suits were out in force hoping to impress for selection.
