North & West Yorkshire County Representative
Role
To provide a direct link from the Regional Committee to the clubs in your county.
Skills
- Well organised and efficient
- Sound knowledge of Triathlon England and the Regional Committee
- Confident and effective communicator
Main Duties
- To contact clubs in your county and relay information between them and the Regional Committee,
- To build the relationship between the Regional Committee and the clubs in your county.
Commitment
Ongoing responsibility – likely to be phone calls, emails and adhoc visits,
4 meetings a year including the AGM.
Junior Series Coordinator
Role
To coordinate the Regional Committee’s Junior Series.
Skills
- Positive, problem solving approach
- Good communicator
- Knowledge of local events
Main Duties
- To work with clubs and event organisers to host suitable quality events at suitable venues and times.
- To work with the IRC Team Manager to review, update and publicise the IRC selection criteria,
- To promote the Regional Series,
- To collate regional points and disseminate via the Website & Social Media Officer,
- To work with the selected events providing support, knowledge and a template format for delivery of standardised events,
- To liaise with the Regional Committee to organiser the Junior Series Awards.
Commitment
Likely to be busiest during series – from April to September, with planning in October through to February.
4 meetings a year including the AGM.
Website Communications Officer
Role
To promote and publicise all information about the Regional Committee objectives and its members.
Skills
- Well organised and efficient
- Sound knowledge of the region
- Confident and effective communicator
- Is IT literate
Main Duties
- To maintain & update the regional website,
- To Promote and publicise, in a positive way all aspects of Triathlon England, the region and its members,
- To rewrite/edit news articles provided by regional members, regional committee or regional mangers and publish on the regional website.
Commitment
Ongoing weekly responsibility.
4 meetings a year including the AGM.
Social Media Communications Officer
Role
Assist in the promotion of all Regional activities and National campaigns.
Skills
- Have some experience of marketing and social media
- Sound knowledge of the region
- Confident and effective communicator
- Is IT literate
Main Duties
- Keeping our social media channels updated, ideally on a weekly basis,
- Encouraging others to comment on our posts and share them with others,
- Increasing the numbers of people following our posts on Facebook and Twitter,
- Promoting our Regional and National campaigns
Commitment
Ongoing weekly responsibility.
