York - 0-5 km Run/Walk Programme with Marie Moss
This course is suitable for ladies who are beginners, those returning to running from a break or anyone who just wants to give it a go.
The purpose of this fun and friendly programme is to help you build up from walking to running 5K.
This programme is inclusive and designed to start with walking and progresses each week with longer running periods.
Over 8 progressive weeks you will learn what good running form looks like and how to apply this to your running to avoid injury and aid enjoyment.
It is ideal to attend weekly however this isn't a requirement. The programme will run continuously so you can easily catch up with any missed sessions.
There is a minimum number of 3 participants needed order to hold these sessions.
Where? York Sport Village, Lakeside Way, YO10 5FG commencing 30th March 2022
When? Every Wednesday.
- 6pm 0-5k – a group for everyone, those new to running or if you are returning after a break and want to build your confidence.
- 7.15pm 10k – a group for those who want to increase distance, focus on good form and challenge themselves to join a Triathlon or 10k
