** Met Office weather warnings have led to the cancellation of the bike stages of the World Triathlon Para Series in Swansea. The swim & run stages go ahead as an aquathlon, with a revised schedule and road closures that are indicated below in bold. **
MARITIME QUARTER — SATURDAY 10:00-18:00
** The change means that roads in the Marina will remain open as normal – with previously publicised road closures suspended. **
OYSTERMOUTH ROAD — SATURDAY 10:00-18:00
** The change means that Oystermouth Rd will remain open as normal – with previously publicised road closures suspended. **
SA1 WATERFRONT — SATURDAY
** The change means that pedestrian access will be maintained on the Sail Bridge and Trafalgar Bridge. **
KING'S ROAD & LANGDON ROAD - SATURDAY 07:00 - 18:00
The run course will use the entirety of Kings Road. Langdon Road will also be closed between Kings Road and the roundabout on Saturday from 11:30 - 18:00. Residential access and exiting of Kings Road on Saturday will be facilitated from Langdon Road between 10:40 - 11:30. Residents in South Quay will not be able to exit from the underground car park after 07:00 on Saturday morning until 18:30 on Saturday evening.
UWTSD SA1 CAMPUS— MONDAY 10 JULY - MONDAY 17 JULY
The event venue and finish area will be located in the UWTSD campus along Kings Road. The car park be closed from Monday 10 July to allow the venue build and breakdown.
Temporary road closures will be in place to ensure the safety of athletes and the public.
These legal road closures are implemented under the Road Traffic Regulation (Special Events) Act 1994 and applies to all vehicles, bikes and horses that are not involved in the event.
• Designated crossing points on the cycle and run courses will be signposted and marshalled, and we request pedestrians use these at all times.

• There are NO RESTRICTIONS at any time to any of the emergency services.
• No parking will be permitted on the run course with vehicle towing in operation.
