Alanya, Turkey hosts ITU World Cup racing this weekend and features five British triathletes. The five, who are all based in Leeds, will tackle the 1500m sea swim, 40km bike and 10km run.

Tomorrow afternoon’s women’s race features Lois Rosindale on the course where she won the ETU European Under 23 title last summer. Heather Sellars is the other British triathlete taking on the top ranked Rachel Klamer (NED), who won the European senior title in Alanya last year.

The men’s race on Sunday sees Mark Buckingham, Tom Bishop and Gordon Benson line up in a competitive field including Dmitry Polyanskiy (RUS), Alessandro Fabian (ITA) and 2004 Olympic medal winner, Sven Riederer (SUI).

The Alanya ETU Junior European Cup runs alongside the senior ITU World Cup event with seven British juniors competing. The full team list and schedule is below.
