As the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games triathlon events take the nation by storm, seven athletes will be racing in Banyoles at the ETU Triathlon European Cup on Sunday 27 July.
In the men’s race, current U23 European Champion, Gordon Benson continues his strong season in Spain along with Mark Buckingham, who finished fourth in 2012.
Phil Wolfe and Calum Johnson will join the two members of the UK Sport lottery funded world-class programme.
Former U23 European Champion and a past top-ten finisher in Banyoles, Lois Rosindale will also compete alongside Katie Hewison and Heather Sellars.
The women’s race starts at 9am with the men in action from 12.00pm local time.
