Sprinters continue their battle to Chicago this weekend

Published:

In-keeping with the sprint distance theme which has recently occupied the age-group calendar, Eton Sprints will provide the next opportunity for triathletes to test their speed this coming weekend.

This time, competitors will be battling for a chance to adorn the Union Jack and compete as a Great Britain Age-Grouper, with coveted starts at the 2015 Chicago ITU Sprint Distance Triathlon World Championships up for grabs.

With a 750m swim, a closed-roads 21.2km bike course followed by a 5km run course up and down the lake, the course prides itself on being fast and flat. Dorney Lake is great for those looking to nail a quick time and claim a spot on the podium, so we can expect some exciting battles to unfold on Saturday.

The first places on the Chicago team were decided at Nicetri’s St Neots triathlon earlier in the month, with the final chance to vie for selection being at the Nottingham Triathlon
